Life’s simplicity is at hand, and I can feel it in the air. As I write this, I sit with a full heart knowing that God is looking down on me and smiling. I have come to know God is kind, he is loving, he is merciful and he is in everything. Everything is vibration, everything is energy, everything is in motion—everything is God.
Going deeper and deeper into the unknown parts of our consciousness, we began to find a deeper meaning of life—one that many of us have never known. There’s a love so powerful and so sublime that we tremble in its presence. It’s difficult to reconcile how there could be an endless fountain of pure love just on the other side of our awareness. It’s as if we’ve been operating in the dark, only to find that there was always a light switch on the wall. As we have walked through life bumping into to jagged-edged furniture, tripping over electric cords, scathing our hands and knees on the carpet—we ask ourselves, where is God? Why can’t I see him? Why do I keep falling down, only to have to pick myself back up again bruised, battered and broken?
The truth is that God has been there all along ready to help you get back up. Like a mother who watches her child struggle to pull themselves up and learn to take their first steps, God is right there watching us as we find our way back to him. We’ve been looking everywhere outside of ourselves for God, only to not find him, to not feel him, to not see him. But how can it be that God is everywhere, yet it seems like God is nowhere? God is everywhere because he is within you. You are a fractal of the consciousness of God. That’s why God sees everything. God knows everything. God lifts you up when you fall down. God looks for you, he waits for you and he wants you to come home to his refuge.
We were taught from a young age that we must be prepared for a cruel world—that we must learn how to defend ourselves against the evils that lurk amongst us, but what happened to learning how to love one another? How do we prepare ourselves and our children for living in a better world?
The answer is simple: change internally and you will experience God’s will, his world, his masterpiece.
But how do I change if I do not know what is love, if I have not experienced this love you say God has for us all? How can I become the being I wish everyone else was? How do I love my neighbor when I do not know how to love myself? That answer too, is quite simple: look within, pray repetitiously, meditate, heal yourself, your mind, your body and your spirit. Treat yourself kindly, with maternal love. Picture in your mind and in your heart the perfect mother, the perfect father and how you wish you were treated as a child. Now hold that in your heart and bring that light out into your world, and treat yourself accordingly. Shine it outwardly and change the world we live in from the inside out.
One cannot change the world externally if we do not change internally, as reality is a projection of one’s own inner beliefs. That’s why the word of God carries weight, and since you are a fractal of God, you too have the same power of the word. This word is a vibration, a sound, a resonance, a frequency that has meaning and holds the power to create the material world you see in the physical form and also the power to create other world, lesser known worlds—internal worlds.
You no longer have to be a prisoner of the things you created while you were in the dark. Your lack of awareness of what you even needed may have caused you to create some uncomfortable circumstances, perhaps even dark things. But once you turn on the light switch that God was leading you to all along, you can start to clean up your temple. You remove the excess. You tend to the dishes, you mop the floors, make the beds and sing joyously while doing so—all in the knowing that you are loved beyond comprehension. That light switch you turned on is a powerful consciousness that once turned on can never be forgotten, and if it ever becomes dimmed for any reason, you know how to get it back. You call on God, you return to a life of service to others and ultimately to a life of meaning. You remember how good it felt to be in God’s presence—and by seeking that love, you will find yourself in prayer, never to let that go because you know that that love is a gift. That we were meant to be close to our creator, that we are loved beyond all measure, and that without a shadow of a doubt we are one with this same omnipresent consciousness that permeates everything. God’s love does not falter, but it is up to us to seek it, to live it, to allow that life to breathe through us.
Seeking God, praising him and living as his expression is something we must do everyday through daily practice. Muscles are built over time, habits are just the same. Daily habits of connecting with the God within are what we should be doing now. We must keep our temples tidy, organized and clean. We must pray, forgive ourselves and others, and find the beauty in the simplest, most mundane of things, because being present in our lives means we are allowing God to experience life through us. God is a gracious observer, he’s the kind-hearted parent who onlooks at you with love as you take your first steps. But it is up to you to see how far you are willing to walk. I encourage you to always look for God within and to return to him daily for your daily bread. He will always be there, delighted to see you coming back home to him. He will hold your hand and praise your steps, he will love you like you have never experienced before. All you have to do is look for him and he will appear to you with his arms wide open full of grace and full of love.
I say to you, you can do this, brother, you can find God again and rest in his splendor. It is what you were made for, it is why you are here at this time. Seek and it shall be revealed.
God bless,
-Amy
I felt every BEAUTIFUL word that was written and God is working in my life more and more every day. God has been reaching out for me and has not and will not give up on me. He sees my pain, my tears, and knows the righteousness of my heart. It just so happens that before reading this fully, I found my sense of peace in the Lord again. God has put people in my life and has taken people and things from my life just to bring me back to him. I am so pleased to be living for our Almighty Lord and to let him speak through me.. I never want to stray away and do things my way ever again. In Almighty Jesus Christ name, Amen 🙌🏻
