Good vs. Evil—a question as old as the ages. What does that even mean? We hold within us a duality. A duality that is very apparent and that holds very opposing view points. It’s very real and we are all well aware of it. But why? Why does this even exist? Why can’t we just live in perfect bliss? Why do we have to see so many rotten things in this world? Why even are there rotten things in this world? Well, that’s really pretty simple. It’s our current level of consciousness as a human collective.
You see, throughout the universe there are patterns. Patterns repeat themselves; sometimes for beauty, such as a flower repeating petals, sometimes for self-preservation, such as a squirrel prepares for the upcoming winter season. The universe has perfected patterns and repeats those patterns. When a pattern becomes corrupted or infected, such as a plant over-burdened with aphids in our garden, the pattern goes into overdrive and attempts to put things right. It overheats, it swells, it bulges, leaves fall—and then suddenly it dies off completely. We think, wow, what happened, what was causing this, could I have prevented it? It was nature healing itself, nothing more, nothing less. Not every flower will make it. Not every bird will live to sing its song. Not every child of God will learn, or perhaps even want to live in his Kingdom.
Patterns like this are repeated so that we can grow, just like a flower, just like the fruits on a tree or on a corn stalk. We grow leaf by leaf, branch by branch and fruit by fruit. We do not achieve anything overnight and we do not know what the next leaf will even look like—that is the grace that God has given us. The pattern repeats, but it changes. The tone of the second leaf isn’t the same as the first—the song has rhythm, and if it were all the same note; there wouldn’t be any music. Just like a song, our life’s lessons may not repeat the same way, but carry similar patterns so that we may finally willingly master the lesson.
Humankind is starting to get a glimpse of this love, and know deep inside of themselves that something is changing. Our human story is very long. It is very complex, and like a spider’s web, it is all connected. This picture is never fully complete, as the next leaf has not been populated yet. The future is unknown and God does not know whether or not humankind will choose a life of fulfillment, grace and mercy or whether humanity will choose to continue the current path of pain, suffering and darkness. He’s observing and is allowing us to choose, collectively.
That is why we all feel something in the air. We feel it in our deepest most inner core that something is on the horizon, and it is this, my brother—we are on the brink of a great leap in consciousness. Will we choose God’s Kingdom and proceed in peace and seek the harmonious balance that is our nature, or will we continue on with the corruption, the swelling up, the dying off? It’s a choice we all must make, and not all of us will choose the same—that’s duality.
Below is an image of what the Hindus call the cycle of Yugas. It is laid out over thousands of years and takes us all the way back to 12,000 years ago to the age of the “Younger Dryas”. Each Yuga has a certain amount of time associated with it, carries a very specific energy and slowly descends into darkness over time and then begins to ascend back up to the Light from there. We have the Satya Yuga; the Golden Age, Tetra Yuga; the Silver Age, Dwarpa; the Bronze age and finally the Kali Yuga; the Iron Age.
As you can see from the image above, there seems to be a lot more to the human story. What we are told about history goes back merely to Ancient Sumeria, the land between two rivers—the Tigris and Euphrates. We have been told about Egypt being one of the most advanced civilizations, but we have also heard about times that are not necessarily the approved version of history. What if there was way more to the story than meets the eye? What if the human story goes beyond what we can comprehend? [Graham Hancock and Joe Rogan have a chat about this here, for those interested.]
It’s important to know our history, and knowing even a fraction of the teaching of Christ Jesus came to teach us is enough to get the core message to God’s people.
What was it that Jesus came to teach us about? The Son of God didn’t just come here and be crucified for no good reason. This was God’s desperate attempt to warn humanity to turn from our wicked ways and seek a life fulfilled with his love. We are quite literally still living in Ancient Babylon. You see, as we can note from our surroundings—from the current state of affairs, something is definitely off. Something’s not totally right. Our garages are full, our jobs are unfulfilling, our families broken, our hearts hardened, our minds scattered—we are empty shells of what we could be. If you guessed we’ve been in the Kali Yuga, you’d be right. The Kali Yuga is full of conflict and sin due to our low level of consciousness. This is the pattern of the Kali Yuga—the darkest of all ages.
Humanity is at this crossroads right now. We are at a point where we are able to choose. We are able to seek the Light with more ease now, as the heaviness of the past Kali Yuga energy pressing down on us is beginning to faint. Ever wonder why it was hard to pray? Hard to really focus? Hard to find joy? Hard to hold the Light? Well, brother, you are not alone. The collective consciousness, to put it simply, was ignorant to the Light—unaware of its existence, and was heavily tormented by the monkey mind. As I mentioned in a previous post, we have been walking around in a room with the lights turned off for literally thousands of years and now God has turned the Light on—hoping we can find his hand.
There is a promise, and God always keeps his word. Jesus’s message came to tell us that we will have eternal life if we seek the Light. As you can see, we are now in an upward ascending cycle, coming back into the Dwarpa Yuga—the Bronze Age, once again.
Nothing is ever lost, and the universe wastes nothing. The flowers that wilted can be revived. They can come back to life by giving them nourishment, care and love. God provides this nourishment daily through him. Praying repetitiously has been the only thing that has served me over the years—and believe you me, I’ve tried pretty much everything. I am glad that I have found all of the things that I have found and that I have tried all the things that I have tried. I have come to know that God is in everything—a little piece of him everywhere I look. My incessant research has always brought me back to one place, and that is within. You know that temple that Jesus talked about? The many statues of Christ pointing with his fingers upwards and inwards? He’s trying to relay a very simple, yet deep message. Can you think of what that is?
I’ll leave that up to you to answer. May God bless you in this day, my brother and sister in Christ.
Until next time,
-Amy
